As we bid Lillie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lillie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Smith and Viola Smith; her husband George; and her son Darryl Lee Collett. She is survived by: her children, Joyce Lovas, Lonnie Collett (Linda), Harold Collett, Marie VanHoose (Robert) and Geraldine Collett; and her siblings, Curt Smith (Ruth), Mae Jones (Lacy) and Evelyn Grubb. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; 48 great-great grandchildren, 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home (1783 E 31st St, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
