It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LaVerne M. Weirich of Lorain, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on March 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur D. "Dan" "Red" Weirich; her parents, Edward Shefski and Mary Shefski; her sister Ruth Sikora; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Brown, Peter Baran and William Wisniewski.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Weirich (Debi) of Berlin Township and Jill Janezic (Jack) of Sheffield Lake; her stepgranddaughter Dina Crapo (Adam Sturgill); her stepgreat-granddaughters, Angelea and Yasmin Amador; and her sisters, Dorothy Baran and Loretta Wisniewski of Fremont.
