He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Pettit and Bertha Pettit. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Pettit; his children, Russell Pettit of Lorain and Angela Sabet (Farzin) of Cincinnati; and his sister Reeda Peace of Virginia.
