It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Freda Castro of Lorain, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sauer and Catherine Sauer; and her brothers, Lawrence and David Sauer. She is survived by: her husband Marcelino Castro Sr.; her children, Marcelino Castro Jr. (Rachel), Edwin Castro (Danielle) and Catrina Castro (Jose); her stepson Adrian Castro; and her siblings, Gerald Sauer (Deborah), Clarence Sauer, Linda Worley (Ronald), Roberta Miller, Delores Dodson (Jack) and Christine Myers. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
