She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Chovanec and Virginia Chovanec; and her siblings, Thomas Chovanec, Charles Chovanec, John Chovanec and Mary Lou Shawver.
She is survived by: her son Kyle James Chovanec of Lorain; and her siblings, Linda Lewyckyj of Vermilion and Joseph Chovanec (Nancy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
