He was predeceased by: his father Freddie Garcia Sr.; his aunts, Milly Aponte and Norma Figueroa; and his uncle Juan Figueroa. He is survived by: his son Juan Javier Aponte Jr.; his mother Carmen M. Garcia; his grandmother Nilda Rosa; his siblings, Alex (Darlyn), Jose (Anna), Angel (Kristen) and Janel; and his stepsiblings, Selena, Lori, Tony Freddie Jr. (Sandy) and Shawn Ray (Kizzie). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
