It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce JoAnn Schwartz of Lorain, Ohio, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James Walter Schwartz; her siblings, Eugene Aldrich Jr., Betty Stahl and Beverly Best; and her parents, Eugene W. Aldrich and Clare Aldrich.

She is survived by: her children, James Schwartz of Canal Fulton, Michael Schwartz (Karen) of Lodi, Colleen Ursi (Dave) of Elyria, Karen McPhie of Avon Lake and Susan Sroka of Bay Village. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
