He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Mary Katkic Sr.; his wife Carol J. Katkic; his son Jeffrey Katkic; and his sister Pat Sas.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Katkic III; his niece Sharon Lewis (Timothy); his nephew Brian Sas (Shellie); his close friends, Juan, Alice Rivera, Victor, Marie Celaschi, Lenny Salerno and John Gall; and also Chrissy Koler.
