He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Katkic and Mary Katkic (Sudetic); and his siblings, Marc, Edward, Steve Jr., Charles, Rudy, Ann Holowecky and Katharine Gill.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Jane Gessner of Santa Ana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
