With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jose A. Melendez-Rivera of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on July 7, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Melendez and Amelia Melendez; his daughter Sharon "Shah" Melendez; and his siblings, Eva, Esther, Delin, Ida, Felicia, Delia, Lida, Adan, Alfredo and Rubeli.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Melendez; his son Eric Melendez; and his brother Josue "Anibal" Melendez.

The family kindly asks all visitors to wear a mask.
