He is survived by: his wife Mary Evans; his children, Doretta Mediadilla (Rogue) of Lorain, Patricia Pouncy (Rafe) of San Antonio, JaNina Reed (Jason) of Elyria, April Conteh (Columbus), Niajah Covington (Trevor), Johnnie Evans Jr. of Columbus, OH and Michael Brunson (Vatima) of Bowie, Maryland.; and his godchildren, Samayah James of Lorain, Alena Allen of Lorain and Vincent Rogers of Elyria.
