He was predeceased by: his father Richard A. Gerber; and his siblings, Richard A. Gerber and Gina Lomax. He is survived by: his wife Dotty Gerber; his daughters, Margaret Esser (Ryen) of Ravenna and Barbara Rafferty; his mother Eileen Gerber of Avon Lake; his sisters, Jane Shedron and Janet Gerber (US Army) of Lorain; and his grandchildren, Devin, Sabra, Kayla, Lauren, Brenna, Caida, Gianna, Gino, John III, Scarlett, Bella, Noura and Baby Bun.

All attendees are required to wear facial coverings and follow COVID-19 social distancing protocols during the wake.
