He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Alexis Jachym; his parents, Frank Jachym and Mary Jachym; and his brothers, Edward and Walter.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Eileen Post (Scott) of Lorain, John (Edith) of Raleigh and Joseph (Kim); and his sisters, Mildred "Mania" Komar, Honey Knight, Jeanette Young and Stella Paysor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great great granddaughters.
