He was predeceased by: his former wife Ethel; his wife Evalee; his son-in-law Paul Knighten; his parents, Merton R. Holt and Daisey Bell Holt; and his siblings, Barbara Hayes, Eleanor Dent, Raymond and Donald Holt.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Crawford (Dennis) of Vermilion, Jennifer Knighten of Amherst and Thomas Holt (Jacqueline) of Lorain; and his grandchildren, Dennis Crawford Jr. (Julie), Ricky Crawford, Matthew Thompson (Colleen), Ben Knighten (Dinene) and Lauren Holt (Nick Baldwin). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the missions fund at Church of the Open Door in Elyria.
