He was predeceased by: his parents, John Butcher and Theresa Butcher. He is survived by: his spouse Deanna Carter; his children, John Douglas Joseph Carter (Irma) of Lorain and Cindy Carter of Elyria; his stepsons, Neil Tait and Troy Tait (Wendy); and his siblings, Clark L. Butcher of Harrietsville and Dawn McNerney (Ralph) of Richfield. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
