We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2019, at the age of 75, Jennell Chinn (Lorain, Ohio), born in Jackson, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Joseph Shannon Sr. and Stanford Chinn; her sons, William Taft and Ricky Shields; her parents, Willie Shields and Parrlee Shields; her sisters, Alma Lewis and Willie Faye Allen; and her great grandchild Leland Crisp.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Shannon Jr., Marcus Shannon, Myra Shannon, Susan Shannon, Shanta Shannon and Alice Chinn; her brothers, Gilbert Shields (Janie) and James Shields; and her close friend Elaine Franks of San Francisco, CA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
