He was predeceased by: his father Sherman Williams; and his grandmother Azzie Lou Whitaker. He is survived by: his mother Donna Lou Whitaker; his wife Latasha Whitaker; his children, Jayonna Whitaker, Azzyonna Whitaker, Jaymone Whitaker II, Jaquan Whitaker, David Whitaker and Ja'Kobe Whitaker; his grandchildren, Kenadrew Clark, Desmond Lewis and Jaymire Whitaker; his siblings, Jeffery Whitaker and Leslie Whitaker; his niece Ny'Ema Dickson; his grandfather Etoy Whitaker; and his close friend Valarie Carlton. He is also survived by stepchildren, aunts, uncles, and friends.
