She was predeceased by: her former husband James Middlebrooks; her husband Pascal James; her sons, Victor Juan Middlebrooks and Charles Ray Hitchens; her parents, Clarence Hitchens and Mary Hitchens; and her siblings, Sam, Frank, William Hitchens, Lula Mae Rollins and Viola Williams.
She is survived by: her siblings, Danton Ray Hitchens, Mary Hitchens, Thelma Shannon and Catherine Henry. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
