James Hawks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 94, James Hawks (Lorain, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Hawks; his children, Harold Hawks, Darrell Hawks and Debra Lynn Boris; and his parents, Harvey Hawks and Alice Hawks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Yohe and Sherry Strunk; his brother Dallas Hawks; his grandchildren, Tracy Martin, Jimmie Dempsey, Kristopher Hawks, Jeremy Hawks, Matthew Hawks, Rochelle Worley, Brittany Boris, Nathan Strunk, Tim Strunk and Mindy Strunk; his great grandchildren, Brennen, Aireyin, Maddie, Chloe, Elijah, Daniel, Leo, Addison and Aiden; and his siblings, Russell, Mary, Clara, Nancy, Margie, Agnes, Wilma, Gertrude, William and Gwendolyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists (2701 Elyria Ave, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (3607 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, OH 44109).
