He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Carrico and Effie Carrico; and his siblings, Oscar, Forrest, Dennis, Robert, Betty Whitehair and Eleanor Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Corinne; his children, James A. Jr. (Jennifer Pugh) of Birmingham, OH, Cindy A. Carrico of Henrietta Township and Shelley M. Carrico of Elyria; his grandchildren, Courtney Carrico (Greg), Andy Carrico (Kaylee), Kyle Riggs, Cayla Riggs and Megan Pugh; his great grandchild Kasen Carrico; and his sister Thelma Turek of Thomas, WV..
