He was predeceased by: his parents, Alston Capers and Margella Capers (Gibbs); and his brother Joe Capers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Capers; his daughters, Nyshema T. Capers, Sacheen Latoya Capers and Tammy Graham; and his siblings, Jeremiah Capers of Louisville, Alfornia Capers of Lorain, Ohio, Minnie Pearl Capers of Alabama, Mandy Bailey of Georgia and Annorlee Whatley of Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions on public gatherings, private family services will be held.
