He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester McVey and Agnes McVey; his wife Florence "Flossie" Ellis; his sons, David and Daniel; and his siblings, Harold, Elmer, Donald, Adelbert, David Glenn and Lois Kaminski.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Paul W. Ellis. He is also survived by many niece and nephews.
