She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Baez-Rivera; her daughter Luisa Alers; her parents, Carmelo Mangual-Iriarts and Adela Molina-Aviles; and her siblings, Carlos Mangual, America Mangual, Alicia Segarra, Dora Rivera, Gloria Fernandez and Luz Maria Matias.
She is survived by: her children, Luis Angel Acosta of Lorain, Jose Baez Jr. of Lorain and Isabel Alers of Lorain.
