She was predeceased by: her parents, Billie Wolford and Elizabeth Wolford; her stepdaughter Melissa Smith; and her siblings, Mack, Irvin, Gene, Melvin and Norma.

She is survived by: her husband Densil Smith; her daughters, Vivian Bertram (Robert), Roberta Wolford (Del) and Regina Register; her stepdaughter Tammy Heidrich (Josh); and her siblings, Tracy, Helen and Reba.
