He was predeceased by: his wife Shelby; and his parents, Thomas Maggard and Eliza Maggard. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Kucbel (Jim), Ira Maggard Jr. (Denise), Thomas Maggard (Laure), Paula White and Brenda Preston (Jeff); his grandchildren, James Kucbel, Brian Kucbel, Timothy Maggard, Donald Maggard, Thomas Maggard, Ashley Barnovsky, Daniel Horning, Carolyn MacDonald, Nathan Horning, Cody Preston, Shelbee Preston, Kylee Trautwein and Nicholas Preston; and his brother Carl Kelly. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
