She was predeceased by: her husband Lorain Mayor Joseph Zahorec; her parents, Roman Jalowiec and Mary Jalowiec; and her brothers, Stanley, Walter, Edward, Henry, Roman and Bernard Jalowiec.
She is survived by: her children, John Zahorec (Nancy) of Lorain, Jolynne Jaykel (Jim) of Lorain, Mary Ellen Muc (Al) of Vermilion and Susan Neely (Charles) of Lorain; and her grandchildren, Joseph Zahorec (Lori), Thomas Zahorec (Nicole), James Jaykel (Carol), Julianne Nau (David), Sean Muc, Brandon Neely (Jennifer) and Elisha Neely. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
