She is survived by: her daughter June Hassan Bell; her granddaughters, Africa, Shola (Desmond Asante), Renita, Valeda and Victoria; her great grandchildren, Tristan, Julius and Majesty; and her siblings, Christine O. Jackson of Charleston, S. C and Johnnie O. Dent (Howard Dent II) of Atlanta, GA..
