It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Bates (Lorain, Ohio), born in Reedsville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Smith and Nellie Smith; her daughters, Twila Wilcox and Loriann Bates; and her siblings, Melvin C., Fay M., Nelson F., Lee R., Max C. Smith, Violet Braddock and Wanda Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick Bates (Melinda) of Sheffield Twp, David Bates (Debbie) of Philadelphia and Theresa Comer (Albert) of Lorain; and her sisters, Ethel Wozniak of Lorain and Rose Fecik of Lorain. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
