She was predeceased by: her mother Lucy Brenes; her grandparents, Modesto, Monseratte Gonzalez, Adolfo Brenes and Santa Montañez; her aunts and uncles, Carmen Delia Diaz, Maria Ledee, Miguel Gonzalez, Reynaldo Rodriguez and Adalberto Colon-Montanez; and her cousin Nayeli Ramos.

She is survived by: her father Oscar Brenes Sr. of Lorain; her siblings, Oscar Brenes Jr. (Milly) of Lorain, Brenda Rivera (Armando) of Lorain and Shay Wilburn (Turner) of Atlanta, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Armando Rivera Jr., Milagros J Sanchez, Isaiah Brenes, Glenda Rivera, Kayzha Quinn, Eliell Brenes, Jordan Rodriguez, Milayshia Brenes, Tj Wilburn, Jada Brenes, Obie Brenes and Omar Brenes; her great-nephew Paris Rivera; and her great-niece Sophia "Lucy" Halloway.
