It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Gonas Jr. of Lorain, Ohio, born in Vermilion, Ohio, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Gonas and Leota Gonas of Georgia. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Louise Rangel (Kathy); his children, George William Gonas III (Kerri) of Watertown and Cynthia Marie Palazzo (John) of Medina; his grandchildren, Delaney of Watertown, Margaret of Watertown, Rosie of Watertown, Piper Gonas of Watertown, Kassady Carrier of Medina, Kane Carrier (Nicole) of Elyria and Kennedy Carrier (Ally) of Lorain; his brother Albert Gonas (Carol) of Sarasota, Florida.; and also Jeffrey Carrier.
Visitors will be required to wear masks / facial coverings and attendees are asked to follow the Covid-19 virus control guidelines posted at the funeral chapel entrance and throughout the building.
