With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Jack Vagotis of Lorain, Ohio, born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Vagotis (Jack) and Esther Vagotis; and his godson Dean Pagonis. He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Vagotis; his daughters, Astacia Myers (Nick) of Mesa, AZ, Christina Vagotis (Jason Harless) of Avon, OH and Jacquelyn Novotny (Rick) of Avon, OH; his stepson Dr. Nick Komas of Chico, CA; his grandchildren, Rosemarie Sanchez, Luca Myers, Vivienne Myers, Alexander Harless, Rozalyn Novotny, Jocelyn Novotny, John Komas and Will Komas; his sisters, Dr. Francine Vagotis (Chuck Smeester) of Grand Rapids, MI and Angela Vagotis Kacarab (Peter) of Canton, OH; his niece Lea Smeester; his nephews, Luke Smeester and Jacob Shankel; his cousin Valerie Zverina (Jan); and his godchildren, Chris Sue Leara, Michael Delczeg, Lauren Zverina and Christos Nakos. He is also survived by father to his three daughters and stepson.
