He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine H. Thompson Sr. and Francis Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Thompson, Francis "Pete" Thompson III, Valerie Thompson and Brendon Thompson; and his aunt Mary Lou Valentin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made at the funeral home.
