He was predeceased by: his former wife Anastasia "Nina"; and his parents, Emilio Garza and Antonia Garza. He is survived by: his former wife Felicita Alicea Garza; his children, Francisco A. Garza, Jr. of Fremont, Martha Guzman of Lorain, Gerald F Garza of Lorain, Maria Cortez-Gonzalez of Lorain, Irma Ruiz (Paul) of Lorain, Patricia Gordon of Lorain and Theresa A Boneta; his sister Maria Albert Rodriguez (Nina) of Lutz; his wife Anastacia Cruz Kerney Garza; his brothers, Emil Garza, Ramon Garza and Higenio "Gene" Garza; and his grandsons, Gerald Tomas Garza and Hector A Guzman, Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and godchildren and will be missed by all family members and friends.
He wanted his children to have a strong Catholic foundation and enrolled them in St. Cyril and Methodius and St. Ladislaus schools.
