He was predeceased by: his parents, Winifred Braithwaite Browne and Hugh Mortimer Browne; his brothers, Emerson M. Browne and Carl H. Browne; and his wife Dr. Juanita Griffin Browne.
He is survived by: his sister Hazel W. Coles-Atl; his son Errol Tsekani Browne; his stepdaughter Aimee Griffin-Joyner; his niece Carla Browne-Davis; his nephew Byron C Browne Jonesboro (Karen); his cousin Jessica O. Brown; and his brother Love.
One of his awards was the Distinguished Service Award for the African American Community Foundation of Lorain County.
