He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Angela. He is survived by: his wife Josie Thacker; and his children, Gene Thacker (Deborah) of Elyria, Donald Thacker of Elyria, James Thacker of Elyria, Anthony Thacker of Elyria, William Thacker (Janet) of Arkansas, Teresa Thacker of Lorain, Pamela Kump (Patrick) of Elyria and Sharon Davila of Amherst. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
