He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry W. Nash and Phyllis J. Peters (Whipple); his sister Jean Ann; his son Russelle; and his granddaughter Kylie.

He is survived by: his close friend Debbie Cajka; his children, Ashley Smith (Jeff), Courtney Debevec (Charlie), Christopher Nash of Madison and Markeatta Rucker of Ashtabula; his stepdaughter Michelle Jones (Jim) of Elyria; and his grandchildren, Breanna, William, Jacob, Karah-Jade, Emily, Shawn, David, Ellie, Alaina, Jayce, Zoie and Amiah.
