He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; his parents, Frank Swartz and Margaret Swartz; his grandson Caleb Swartz; and his brothers, Neil and Donald Swartz.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Anne Swartz of Lorain, Craig P. Swartz (Beverly) of Cape Coral and Jennifer Anne Presley of Westlake; his grandchildren, Jake Presley and Leah Presley; his sister-in-law Rita Swartz of Lorain; his nieces, Sharon Wilson (George) and Jill Rutter (Richard); and his nephew Eric Swartz (Ginger).
