He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence C. Maines and Arrilla Maines. He is survived by: his children, Scott Maines of LaGrange, Bruce Maines (Jeanne Williams) of Providence, John Thomson, Jr. of Amherst, Audrey Lauffer (Jeff) of Elyria and Jennifer Manuel (Edmund, Jr.) of Elyria; and his sister Mae Weisner of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
