We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2020, at the age of 102, Dorothy Vapenik (Lorain, Ohio), born in Rogers City, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur White and Lydia White; her husband Jerry Vapenik; and her friend Gertrude Belz. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Abrajano of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Due to the current health pandemic, Funeral Rites will be private with a graveside service to be held at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions, if any, be made in memory of Valerie Vandegriff and Alexandra Taylor Rowe to Columbus Nationwide Children's Hospital, 700 Children's Drive, Columbus, OH 43205.
