She is survived by: her daughters, Gwendolyn Cody (Gary Sanders), Deborah Cody and Denita Cody; her grandchildren, Eric Johnson Sr., Brian Johnson Sr., Sonya Cody and Melvin Lee Cody; and her siblings, Elijah Grant, Willie Mae Manning, Millie Daisy Grant and Beulah Lucille Grant. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
