She was predeceased by: her grandson Jacob Thayer; her parents, Don Sawyers and Novella Wirt; her parent-in-law Anthony "Tony"; her brother Michael Echko; and also Mary Furci.

She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Furci; her children, Lindsay Thayer (Joseph) of Lorain and Tyler Furci (Jessica) of Amherst; her grandchildren, Regan Thayer and Evan Thayer; her sister Shirley Poe (Delano) of Sheffield Lake; and her sister-in-law Catherine DeAngelis (Dennis) of Lorain. She is also survived by three nieces, and four nephews.
