McConnell Sr. of Lorain, Ohio, born in Wadsworth, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah; his parents, Dare McConnell and Leona McConnell; and his siblings, Mary, Peggy, Ed, Bob and Pat.

He is survived by: his children, Donald II, Sabrina, Anthony and Samantha (Donald); his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ashley, Crystal, Briana, Hailey, Haiden, Leah and Mason; and his brothers, Dick and Jim. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
