It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Mendez of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her caregiver Hortencia "Tencha" Leibas; her nephews, Matt Leibas of Lorain, Mark Leibas (Maurren) of Columbus, Dean Leibas (Angel) of Avon Lake and Vincent Lopez (Paige) of Columbus; her niece Tina Marks (Randy) of New London; her mother Otilia Lopez; her stepfather Robert Lopez; her brother John Lopez; and her father William A. Thaden. She was also cherished by four great-nephews, three great-nieces and many cousins.
