He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kevin Hayes and Jennifer Garza; his grandparents, Jose, Heidi Matias and Debbie Tomco; his siblings, Michael Cyrus (Alex) of Oberlin, Nate Cyrus (Brianna) of Lorain, Bryan Cyrus of Lorain, Austin Hayes of LaGrange, Hayley Garza of Oberlin, Kaydance Hayes of Oberlin and Starjenna Hayes of Lorain; and his close friend Luke Brantley.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made directly to Hempel Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
