He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Hawke and Alice S. Hawke; and his brothers, Robert, William and Glenn.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Melissa Ratcliffe and Tim Hawke (Nikki); his grandchildren, Izabelle, Luke Ratcliffe, Alexa, Savannah, William and Camden Hawke; his sister Linda Sears; and his sisters-in-law, Lena Hawke and Willa Hawke.
