He was predeceased by: his former wife Marilyn Gainok-Lyons; his wife Violet Lyons; his parents, Ross Lyons and Mildred Lyons; his stepson Rodney Davis; and his siblings, Wilma McKinney, Ralph, Robert, Otis and Fred Lyons.
He is survived by: his brothers, Donald Lyons (late Norma) and Raymond Lyons (Evelyn); his stepsons, Tim Davis and Bob Gainok (Becky); and his stepdaughter-in-law Karen Jones (Jerome). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
