He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his parents, Warren J. Bailey and Mabel Bailey. He is survived by: his children, Ken Bailey (Jodi) of Lorain, Moe Bailey of Augusta, Georgia, Colleen Fox of Lagrange and Michelle Howes (Shannon) of Lewis Center, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Trent, Hayden Fox, Hannah, Emma, Jack Bailey, Declan and Aislinn Howes; his sister Laetta "Sis" Parsons (Bob) of Lorain; and his nephew Warren Parsons (Julie) of Toledo.
In lieu of flowers, Darrel's family strongly encourages contributions in memory to either the Alzheimer's Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
