It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Elmer Shumway of Lorain, Ohio, born in Brilliant, Ohio, who passed away on January 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Esther Faye; his children, Sharon Kimble of Elyria, Randy Shumway of Lorain, Richard Shumway (Michelle) of Lorain and James Shumway II of London, Ohio; and his brother Paul Young of Lorain. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Church of Amherst 440 N Lake St, Amherst, OH 44001 .
