He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Short and Catherine Short; his wife Monnie Short; and his siblings, Frank, James Short, Josephine Terrizzi, Mary Hook and Connie Naro.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn M. Short of Winona, MN and Charles L. Short Jr. (Laura) of Jackson, MI; and his grandchildren, Frank Jakubec (Shannon) of Chesapeake, VA, Brandon Short of Jackson, MI and Ashley Wearsch of Sullivan, OH. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, the family requests social distancing during visitation.
