With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Merrick of Lorain, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Merrick; his parents, Violet Snyder (Thomas) and Thomas Merrick; and his sisters, Thelma Bass and Mary Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, David Merrick of Akron, Kenneth Hemminger (Joann) of Lorain, Diane Nowak (Jeff) of Elyria and Debra Bright (David) of Lorain; his grandchildren, Sydney, Conor, Henry, David, Bryan and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Bryan and Landen; and his brother Frank Merrick.
